Creative Services Producer
WEAU’s Creative Department is looking for a talented and driven video editor, videographer, writer, and graphic artist. You will work with clients and account executives to plan and create effective commercials and content for local businesses. You will also collaborate with the Creative Services and Promotions Manager to build upon the tremendous popularity of the WEAU 13 News and First Alert Weather brands with innovative marketing strategies to promote audience growth. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create compelling advertising that helps local clients achieve their business goals.
• Write, schedule, shoot, and edit commercial production projects, collaborating effectively to meet client and station needs.
• Deliver final spots to clients and make adjustments as needed.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Time-management skills and day-to-day project flexibility are required, along with a sense of urgency to deliver projects under tight deadlines (when required).
• Work with the Creative Services Director on a daily promotional strategy for on-air and digital.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Experience in video production, video editing, and basic graphics work.
• The Creative Video Producer will be a self-starter, expected to carry a professional appearance for clients and work well with others.
• Previous experience in television is a plus, as well as knowledge of Sony and Canon cameras, and Adobe Creative Suite.
