In accordance with the WBA's Assistance Action Plan For EEO Compliance, your WBA is hosting the following EEO Session on Sept 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the Madison Marriott West.

The hiring process is the first step that sets the tone for the employment relationship. Successful hiring practices establish the tone and expectations for an amiable relationship between employers and employees. Unsuccessful hiring practices, in contrast, create negative and unproductive human resources and legal issues for employers. These issues are compounded in today’s expansive digital environment. This presentation will address many of the issues that may arise and assist employers, hiring managers and human resources professionals to implement successful and lawful practices to mitigate their legal risk while leveraging processes that increase retention and long-term success.
