The Shift from Jobs to SUPER Jobs
Remember the integration of your Applicant Tracking System or digital inventory management system? What were BIG changes at the time, are now part of everyday life. Digital tools & technology are reshaping many jobs, and we need to find the balance between human capabilities and rapidly evolving technology. “Super Jobs” combine aspects of traditional jobs and the ability to leverage technology for greater productivity and efficiency. So how does your team stack up?
Attendees will learn:
--Techniques for critically evaluating your team’s gifts, talents, and skills
--Strategies for succession planning with aging teams
--Insights on evolving technology and how it is redefining the workplace
--Practical interview tips for engaging the next generation
Talent Mobility
It’s always been a race to find top talent and keep them. However, the methods for finding and retaining talent have shifted. Sometimes, the best candidates are already working in your building. Supporting the mobility of talent is good for both employees and employers. Charting a course for the future and providing clarity about the path to success is a critical factor in keeping next-generation workers engaged. Building and working an internal pipeline not only shapes your hiring process but also shapes the leadership future of your organization.
Attendees will learn:
--Techniques for establishing and maintaining an internal talent pipeline
--How to assess the strengths and weaknesses of your current team
--Identifying gaps and areas for improvement in your team structure
--Strategic considerations for the timing of team replacements
The Alternative Workforce
Alternative work is now mainstream! And we know alternative work arrangements give employees enough flexibility to work as they want and accommodate their needs. But it also gives companies an edge in vying for and keeping talented, highly motivated employees; reduce costs by eliminating and consolidating offices; and reduce overhead costs. The ideal workplace integrates multi-generational workers without alienating veteran talent. So, what does it mean to be an employer of choice? How can you get there?
Attendees will learn:
--To share the value of your company’s contribution to your community
--To utilize social media to showcase the benefits of working at your company
--How your participation in community events can be used for recruiting
--Strategies for driving employee engagement
NOTE: You must attend LIVE to receive an EEO letter.
