ECB is the state agency that delivers educational, noncommercial, and public safety media via Wisconsin Public Radio and PBS Wisconsin. We are seeking a Broadcast Systems Administrator (IS Technical Services Specialist) for our Core Engineering team.

The Broadcast Systems Administrator serves under general supervision of the Director of Core Engineering and is based in Madison, WI. Occasional remote work requests may be granted with supervisor approval based on projects and departmental need.

Qualified applicants will have EACH of the following: 

•    Experience as the primary or responsible expert supporting modern information technology such as Windows and Linux servers, network switches, routers, firewalls, and purpose-built appliances in support of 24/7 broadcast operations.

•    Experience using scripting and automation to reduce the administrative burden to maintain and monitor continuously operating technology in support of 24/7 broadcast operations.

•    Experience supporting peers and colleagues to maximize broadcast quality and reliability.
