WNXR is seeking our next morning show host. WNXR is a Classic Hits format. This is a live shift. No tracks. It's all you entertaining the masses.

This is a rare opening at WNXR. If you are looking for a radio career, something with longevity, you want this job. The guy that is retiring has been at WNXR over 30 years. So basically, the hot hits he played then in 1995 he is once again playing as Classic Hits now. It's kinda like the radio circle of life.

This position is 8 hours a day including a 6a-10am air-shift, Monday - Friday. After your air-shift obviously production and preparing lunch for the staff. (just seeing if you were actually reading this). Now, there may be a Saturday mixed in there once in a while with a live broadcast, and YES those are paid.

We are looking for someone with on-air experience, live broadcast experience, and is computer savvy for completing daily production, daily logs, voice tracking, and some social media postings.
