Join a high-functioning team of award-winning multimedia producers and play a key role in the success of our broadcast and digital work! PBS Wisconsin produces a wide variety of engaging programs for distribution over multiple platforms including broadcast television, radio and digital. The Production Coordinator provides valuable support in a number of areas, collaborating with content producers to manage production logistics and schedules for a variety of projects, as well as content research and media production work. 

The Project Coordinator uses project management tools like Airtable to manage and coordinate video and audio production information, including  credits and rights information, motion graphic and design elements, digital and marketing needs, as well as critical operations and QC processes. Also manages video drone flight requests and approval processes for PBS Wisconsin. Works as a liaison between internal departments to facilitate logistics related to media production. Strong communications skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks on deadline are required. This position will be based in Madison, WI and reports to the Executive Producer in PBS Wisconsin’s Production Administration Unit. 

This is a full time, 40-hour-a-week position.

Expected start date: November 30, 2026

This is a full-time position that works core business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work some evenings and weekends as needed, with ability to travel – with occasional overnights – for work.  

This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 1 day per week in person on the University of Wisconsin Madison campus in Madison, WI and will require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. During the initial training period, on-site work is required. The final schedule can be discussed at the offer stage, but fully remote candidates will not be accepted.

Travel is required. Must provide a valid driver's license. Employees may use their own transportation or receive approval for University Car Fleet usage. Employment is conditional pending the results of a Pre-hire Driver Authorization Check. 

Expected pay for this position ranges from $26.44 to $31.25 per hour with actual pay dependent on experience and qualifications. Wisconsin Public Media offers a comprehensive benefits package, including generous vacation, sick leave, healthcare and pension.
