Due to an internal promotion, WFRV-TV is seeking a full-time Sales & Traffic Assistant to join our dynamic team in Green Bay. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced broadcast television environment that supports local businesses and serves our community every day.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet daily deadlines
  • A positive, take-charge attitude
  • Experience in Broadcast or Cable Sales/Traffic Systems or Media Buying (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day sales support for the Local Sales team
  • Assist with campaign setup, traffic coordination, and ensuring advertising copy and materials are received and scheduled accurately
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Managers, Account Executives, Nexstar National Reps, and Media Agencies
  • Enter Television and Digital orders for WFRV and assist with traffic operations
  • Coordinate and help plan sales events for clients and internal teams
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external partners
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date files and business records
  • Prepare forms, reports, and co-op scripts (some requiring notarization)
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties as needed
  • Provide backup support to other departments when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is an in-office position based in Green Bay, with standard hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The role requires the ability to:

  • Sit for extended periods
  • Conduct phone and video communications (including email and Microsoft Teams)
  • Draft professional correspondence and reports
  • Participate in face-to-face meetings
  • Work independently and make decisions that impact team outcomes
  • Work indoors in a professional, climate-controlled environment
